I also welcoming conversation about VR, and games that may or may not be on steam.

BAK to the file name and then starting VR again. Make sure to use VIVE Link Box (2.0) and VIVE Headset Cable (2.0) included with VIVE Pro 2.

Driver Easy is especially controversial in the PC community (and widely regarded as scamware). This is a pretty good way to cripple a PC. After unboxing and connecting all the hardware I started Steam VR, got green icons for all the 5 hardware items, but Steam VR still shows Not Ready.

Found a Reddit thread that said to delete the vrsettings file in your Steam folder. I would never ever recommend using a 3rd driver installer, especially for GPU drivers with the sole exception of using DDDU to uninstall older display drivers. I will add, I experienced the same problem with mine, and it happened a few times, first time I tried fudging it with a laptop that used a gtx 960 (desktop card ver), which is insufficient power lol, but the second time I experienced it was on my current rig with a 1070 in it, the issue for me was resolved by tweaking display settings in my PC and doing a few power cycles, as well as reinstalling steamVR and Vives own software for it. why you do that me 1:08pm Originally posted by SPRUNTastic: I suddenly had a similar issue the other day.
